Youyi Bridge

The Youyi Bridge [ [http://onlinenews.com.pk/details.php?id=66476 "As Prime Minister, I had renamed as YOUYI Bridge"] ] (translated: "Friendship Bridge", Chinese: 友誼橋, Urdu: "to be added") is a bridge on the Karakorum Highway {KKH}linking the People's Republic of China (PRC) and Pakistan. KKH connects the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of the PRC to the Federally Administered Northern Areas of Pakistan. The construction of the bridge was carried out between 1966 and 1978 and it spans the Indus river at Thakot in Pakistan.
