Drew Varley born April 9th 1971 in Tolworth, Surrey. He is best known for playing Mungojerrie in the filmed production of Cats, as well as having featured in many musicals. He is currently a teacher and has been part of several dance school's faculties and is now teaching jazz at the Stella Mann College in England.

Training

Drew trained for 3 years at Bridget Espinosa's London Studio Centre. Productions included Edward Bond's War Plays and Drew played Action in West Side Story.

Theatre

Following the completion of his training, Drew immediately joined the cast of Cats at London's New London Theatre as Bill Bailey. His West End theatre debut, however, was as Nibs and John Darling in Peter Pan (Aldwych and Cambridge Theatres and UK tour). He has also appeared in Mack and Mabel (Piccadilly Theatre), Crazy For You (Prince Edward Theatre), She Loves Me (Savoy Theatre) - playing Arpad Lazslo on many occasions, Gypsy (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (Theatre Royal Plymouth), Hans Christian Anderson (Churchill Theatre, Bromley), Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon), Cats (New London Theatre) - as Mungojerrie, Doctor Doolittle (Hammersmith Apollo), West Side Story (UK tour) - as A-rab and LeFou in Beauty and the Beast (UK tour).
