- Umbro Cup
The Umbro Cup was a minor international football competition, which took place in the summer of
1995 inEngland . The trophy was sponsored by the sports brandUmbro , and two of the participating teams had their kits manufactured by them.Host nation England, Sweden, Japan and Brazil participated in the tournament, and matches took place at Wembley,
Elland Road ,Goodison Park , Villa Park andCity Ground .From an England perspective, highlights of the tournament included a stunning equaliser by
Darren Anderton in the final minutes of their match with Sweden - which hit both posts before going in - and an equally superb goal byGraeme Le Saux against Brazil at Wembley. England's other match, against Japan, saw an England debut forGary Neville . The game against Sweden was the first time England had played a home game away from Wembley since1962 .Results
