Stabilizer code

Stabilizer code

An [n,k] stabilizer code is defined to be the vector space V_S stabilized by a subgroup S of G_n such that -I otin S and S has n-k independent and commuting generators, S=langle g_1,ldots,g_{n-k} angle. These conditions are required so that the vector space stabilized is non-trivial. Denote this code C(S).
