Justin Pitt is a
fictional character on the US televisionsitcom "Seinfeld ", portrayed byIan Abercrombie .Usually referred to as "Mr. Pitt", he was
Elaine Benes 's boss for a short time during the show's sixth season. The character was introduced in the season premiere, "The Chaperone". Elaine was employed as Mr. Pitt's personal assistant for twenty-two episodes, ending with "The Diplomat's Club", in which she was fired after a series of coincidences led him to believe that she was trying to kill him.Characteristics

*He's very particular about the white socks that he wears, forcing Elaine to spend hours looking for the perfect pair. This mission kept Elaine from going to
New Jersey with Jerry, George and Kramer for theMiss America pageant in "The Chaperone".
*He has an aversion tofountain pens , and ink is forbidden in his office. A fountain pen's explosion was at the core of a scene at the end of "The Gymnast ": Elaine gripped his coat while her hands were covered in ink to get him to stop staring at aMagic Eye poster and go to a meeting, at which the ink had gotten on his upper lip, lending him a resemblance toHitler , as he emphatically told a meeting of investors that "we must annex Poland by the spring" and "our stock will rise high!"
*He eats hisSnickers candy bars with a knife and fork, which became therunning joke for "The Pledge Drive ".
*He also seems to have a fondness forWoody Woodpecker , and in "The Mom & Pop Store " got to live out his childhood dream of holding up the Woody balloon at theMacy's Thanksgiving Day Parade .
*Pitt is very wealthy, and lives in an expensive apartment building. This set up the plot of "The Doorman ".
