Miguel Zugastegui

Fray Miguel Zugastegui, monk and revolutionary, was part of the Independence movement of Mexico. He was captured by the Spaniards and died in prison on May 3, 1809. He is revered in Mexico as a Martyr of Mexican Independence.^{[citation needed]}
