Lego Harry Potter

Lego Harry Potter was a Lego theme based on the films of the Harry Potter series. Models of important scenes, vehicles and characters were made for the first five films released. After Hogwarts Castle was made for the release of "Order of The Phoenix", Lego decided to end the contract and not produce any more sets based upon the Harry Potter world. Fact|date=September 2008

Creation

Lego Harry Potter was created in 2001, to coincide with the release of the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone UK film title, in the United States the title was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

The first film saw the largest amount of sets, with fourteen being made in total. To start with, only eleven were produced, three more were made the following year in 2002.
