Political career
Craig first unsuccessfully stood for Newham Council in 1998 as a Christian Democrat candidate in what was then Ordnance ward. From then until 2002 he continued to campaign against Newham Council from his position as Director of the charitably funded Mayflower Centre. In 2001 Craig stood in a
