Steve Tuttle (born
January 5 , 1966 inVancouver, British Columbia ) is a retiredCanadian hockey right wing who played for parts of three seasons (1988 -1991 ) for the St. Louis Blues of theNational Hockey League , scoring a total of 28 goals in his career. He was traded to theTampa Bay Lightning , spending time with their International Hockey League affiliate, thePeoria Rivermen . In1993 , without playing a single game for the Lightning, he was traded to theQuebec Nordiques , playing for their IHL affiliate, theMilwaukee Admirals . He retired after the 1997–98 season.Tuttle is best remembered for being the player whose skate accidentally slashed the throat of
Clint Malarchuk during a1989 game against theBuffalo Sabres .He was also a standout player at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison , being namedAll-American his senior season. He is now an auditor in Seattle, WA.External links
