Steve Coy

Steve Coy Born in Liverpool, England March 15, 1962, is the drummer, band manager, producer, and songwriter for new wave band Dead or Alive. He joined the band in 1982 along with lead singer Pete Burns. Steve Coy collaborated on several of the bands hit songs including You Spin Me Round (Like a Record). He appears in all of the bands music videos including the 2003 version of "You Spin Me". In the video, he along with Burns and keyboardist Jason Alburey, spin in gold CGI swirls and change outfits. He along with Alburey, provide back up vocals for most of the songs. During the performances, he is usually seen wearing a bandana with his long black hair (his natural hair color is red). Steve appeared on Living TV's "Pete Burns Unspun" and acted as Pete's driver, assistant, and body guard during the events that occurred on the show. Steve is 6 feet 1 inch tall, has long black hair and brown eyes, and his favorite food is seafood. His favorite phrase is "Just get on with it".
