When owned by Clear Channel, the 92.5 and 94.1 signals were simulcasting an oldies music format; Clear Channel moved that station to 100.3 FM, with the callsign WQRV. 92.5 FM was also a Decatur, Alabama, station in the 1950s as WMSL-FM and WHOS-FM. The station was assigned the WVNN-FM call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on April 6, 2006.cite web |title=FM Call Sign History |url=http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/call_hist.pl?Facility_id=25385 |work=FCC Media Bureau CDBS Public Access Database]
