Linda Valori

Linda Valori is an Italian popular singer of Romanian descent, that won the Golden Stag Festival's trophy in 2005.

With a degree in teaching psychology, with an Italian father and a Romanian mother, and aged a little bit over 20, Linda lives in a huge country house, near Ascoli Piceno, with her parents and two sisters, 17 cats and 72 turtles.

As for her artistic evolution, in 1995 she ended up on the second place in the contest called "A New Italian Voice", which took place in Milan. In 2000, she takes part in the "New Voices" national contest, winning the prize for "Best Vocal Expression", apart from the fact that she became the absolute winner. In the same year, she passed the selections of the "Popstars" TV show, on the Italia 1 channel.

In 2002 she won the "Mia Martini" prize in the "Young People for Europe" section.

In 2003 she signs a contract with the record companies Leart’ di Grottammare, and Mr. Studio (Pedaso), CNI (Rome), in collaboration with Look Studio S.R.L.

In 2004, she arrives on the 3rd place at the San Remo festival, with the song "Aria, sole, terra e mare", for which she composed the lyrics herself.

With her "soul" voice, Linda has been compared to the American singer Anastacia.

In September 2004, Linda takes part in the Mediterranean international festival "Megahit", winning with the song "E vai".

In September 2005 she won the trophy of the Golden Stag Festival that took place in Braşov , Romania.

In March 2005, she joined the reality show "Music Farm", together with some of the biggest names in Italian music. At the end of May, however, she was part of the project "Sanremo’s Stars", which consisted of five live gigs in Australia, together with Paola & Chiara, Ricchi e Poveri, Umberto Tozzi, Antonella Ruggiero.
