Channel Court is a sub regional shopping centre located on the Channel Highway, Kingston, Tasmania. For many years the shopping centre was considered very small and inadequate to the needs of the local population. However, since being Purchased by the Behrakis Group in June of 2004 the centre has undergone a complete transformation. Tasmania's largest Big W was opened at the shopping centre on April 5, 2006, and it is planned that by 2009 Channel court will be one of the largest shopping Centres in Tasmania.[1]
