American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The ACLU also acquired the film for domestic distribution.Plot
Stanley Cleavis is a blue-collar worker found in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is arrested, tried for murder and found guilty and lands on death row. Years later, it is time for Stanley's execution by means of lethal injection. As the three-step execution process begins, Stanley is told to "take his last breath". As he closes his eyes there is a phone call -- a signal from the warden. Soon Stanley seems reunited with his family until the unforgivable occurs.
