Debbie Lindley (born 4 June 1973 in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire) is a British presenter and journalist.[1]
Career
Lindley began her career as co-host of a local radio station Breakfast Show, The Pulse until joining Yorkshire Television in early 1996. In 2002, Lindley joined Real Radio (Yorkshire) presenting a late night weekend request show. In January 2003, she moved to co-present the flagship breakfast show five days a week alongside Terry Underhill. After a period of maternity leave,[2] she returned in 2006 to co-present with Guy Harris and briefly with Darren Kelly. This ended in May 2007. From July 2007, she presented a Saturday morning show from 10:00-14:00 she then presented a Sunday afternoon show from 13:00-16:00.
As well as working on the radio, for a number of years she also presented ITV Weather forecasts for the ITV Yorkshire regional programme Calendar, her last appearance being on 28 December 2008. In 2009, Lindley had a short stint freelancing on various ITV regions as a weather presenter.
