Their first year record was 4–12, and they improved the second year at 7–9. Despite having a losing record that year, they managed to make it to their only playoff appearance, but they lost in the first round to theAlbany Conquest . After a dismal 3–13 year, the Brigade officially disbanded and ceased all operations.The team was co-owned with the
Buffalo Destroyers by Mark Hamister; after Hamister's failed bid for theBuffalo Sabres and his subsequent move of the Destroyers to Columbus,Ohio , he saw no need to continue the Brigade team and folded it.The city of Rochester would be without an arena football team until 2006, with the arrival of the GLIFL's
