The Cayuga Speedway, also known as the "Cayuga 2000 Speedway" is a racing track located near
Cayuga, Ontario in Haldimand County. It opened in1966 and is considered to be one of Canada's premier racing facilities. It is a 5/8 mile oval. The track heldCASCAR races. Now it hosts theNASCAR Canadian Tire Series and theARCA RE/MAX Series .Set on convert|300|acre|km2|1 of land, Cayuga offers

June 8 2006 , a group of developers from Toronto recently purchased the 5/8 mile track from its original owners and made improvements for the 2007 season, hoping to attractNASCAR Busch Series (now called Nationwide Series) to have a race at Cayuga Speedway which went to Montreal instead. Cooper Construction of Oakville was announced as the vendor to re-build the track. In 2007, the track wanted to attract the NASCAR Busch Series to its track, but instead it went to Montreal.
