Small Soldiers is a Game Boy and PlayStation action game that is based on the PG-13 rated film "Small Soldiers".
The game differs from the movie in that the plot and theme were completely changed. The movie was set in the real world, while the game was set a fictional 'fantasy' world where the Commando Elite were trying to eliminate the Gorgonites and destroy their home. All the action figure characters in the film were in the game, along with the addition of two new Gorgonites, Stench and Nibble.
The game allows the player to use different ammunition on archer's crossbow, including a machine gun (default), a green plasma ball that ricochets off walls, a blue dart that seeks out enemies, and a powerful rocket launcher.
