Kagasaurus

Kagasaurus

"Kagasaurus" (meaning "Kaga lizard") is the informal name given to an as yet undescribed genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. It was a theropod which lived in what is now Japan. The type species was named by Hisa in 1988, but is known from only two teeth. Since "Kagasaurus" has never been formally described, it is considered a "nomen nudum". Unlike "Kitadanisaurus" and "Katsuyamasaurus", it is unlikely that "Kagasaurus" is synonymous with "Fukuiraptor", and may instead [http://dml.cmnh.org/2000Dec/msg00720.htm be a dromaeosaurid] .
