Kay Bluhm (born
October 13 ,1968 in Brandenburg) was a German flatwater canoe racer who won a total of five Olympic medals.His first medal, a bronze in Seoul while representing
East Germany , came as a member of Germany's K-4 kayak crew.However Bluhm's greatest success came after he joined forces with
Torsten Gutsche in 1989 in the two-man kayak. As the outstanding K-2 pairing of their generation they won three Olympic gold medals, one Olympic silver and seven World Championship golds.World Championship Golds
