Florinda Meza García (born February 8, 1949 in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico), better known simply as Florinda Meza, is a Mexican television and film actress, writer, director and producer.

Meza was cast by Roberto Gómez Bolaños to play "Doña Florinda" in the Televisa comedy show "El Chavo del Ocho", which became a major international hit. Playing "Doña Florinda" (and "Popis"), Florinda Meza became known all over Latin America. The show lasted from 1972 to 1980, era during which she and Roberto began a life-long romance that never produced any children.

Meza also participated in several movies, and produced telenovelas such as "La Dueña" ("The Owner"), "Alguna Vez Tendremos Alas" ("Someday We Shall Have Wings") and "Milagro y Magia" ("Miracle and Magic"), in which she also acted.

Meza also participated prominently in Chespirito's other main show, "El Chapulín Colorado".

After production of the show "Chespirito" ended in 1995, she and Roberto began touring extensively, something they still do. The couple have faced criticism in certain countries they have been to, with hotel workers and others accusing them of diva-like behavior.

The two Mexican actors got married in a civil ceremony on November 19, 2004, after 27 years of sharing their lives.
