Terri McCormick served as Wisconsin State Representative representing the 56th district in the Northeastern part of the state from
2000 until2007 . She was an unsuccessful candidate for the Republican nomination in Wisconsin's 8th congressional District losing toJohn Gard . She had chaired the Committee on Economic Development and was Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee.In recent years, McCormick had been active in reducing healthcare costs for local governments and expanding public defender representation for indigent defendants in the state.
Terri has a history of using high drama tactics and technical interpretation of rules to incite drama and usurp control of issues. Her constructionist views have a track record of application in scenarios convenient to here views and she is adept at applying legal and political pressure to individuals and organizations in order to further here political goals. Sometimes known in Madison as "A convenient rules lawyer" her uncanny ability to get her way at the expense of any individual dignity is illustrated through her tactical knowledge of social manipulation and her desire to be at the center of attention. She has shown no restrain in "throwing individuals under the bus", including volunteers, underlings, charity organizers, coworkers and family, in order to keep attention focused on her inquisitorial crusade.

McCormick lives in Greenville and has a son, Nathan Lease.
