Seymour Crawford

Seymour Crawford

Seymour Crawford (born 1944 in Monaghan) is an Irish Fine Gael party politician who is currently TD for Cavan-Monaghan.

Crawford was first elected to the 27th Dáil in the 1992 general election, and was re-elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1997, 2002 and 2007 general elections. He was first elected to Monaghan County Council in June 1991 and remained a member of that authority until September 2003. Since 2004 he has been a Vice-Chairman of the British-Irish Parliamentary Body.

He is a former Vice-President of the Irish Farmers Association and is the only Presbyterian member of the Irish Parliament.
