One ship and one shore base of the Royal Australian Navy have borne the name HMAS "Albatross, after the Albatross:

* The first HMAS "Albatross" was a seaplane carrier laid down in 1926, decommissioned in 1933, and transferred to the Royal Navy
* The second HMAS "Albatross" is the RAN's naval aviation base, located in Nowra, New South Wales, acquired in 1948, and operational as of 2008.
