Lincoln Law School of Sacramento is a private, non-profit law school in Sacramento, California, United States. The Law School's stated goal is to provide a thorough and affordable four year legal education.

General information

Lincoln is an evening-only law school for students who wish to study law at an other-than full-time institution. The school was founded in 1969 as an affiliate of Lincoln University. [ [http://www.lincolnlaw.edu/student/school_catalog.pdf School Catalog] ] The law school is now an independent educational institution.

The law school received its accreditation from the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California in 1978, but does not maintain accreditation by the American Bar Association. While CBE accreditation qualifies graduates for the California Bar Exam, lack of ABA accreditation affects the standing of graduates in other states relative to bar exams outside the State of California.

Teaching Faculty at Lincoln Law School is made up of judges and practicioners from the Sacramento legal community.

Modernization

Various modernization projects were undertaken in 2008 to update several classrooms as well as the outside appearance of the campus. New classroom settings, including new projectors and screens were added in order to bring the classrooms up-to-date with contemporary technology.
