Lloyd Reeb

Lloyd Reeb (born 1961) is a public speaker, author, retired real-estate builder, and director of Halftime.

Reeb was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 19, 1961. He is the third of four brothers and lived in Philadelphia until he attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He eventually married his childhood sweetheart and started Reeb Development Inc. His company built two apartment complexes, two retirement communities, and a few neighborhoods outside Ottawa.

After retirement, he started working as head of communication for Send International, a missionary group and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. In the mid-1990s he became an associate pastor (of evangelism) at Mecklenburg Community Church and helped design and build a new building for the church.

After a few years of administrative work at Mecklenburg Community Church, Reeb became the director of Halftime Inc., a non-profit organization that heads up the halftime movement. He started writing books about the halftime journey, speaking across the United States and the world, and leading a socio-economic movement of middle-aged business people who have been successful and want to spend he second half of their lives moving from success to significance.
