Sea Island Centre Station, formerly YVR 2 Station, is a proposed rapid transit station on the Canada Line in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, south of Vancouver. The station is due to open when the Canada Line opens, in 2009.
Location
The station will be located on Sea Island, along the Canada Line branch serving Vancouver International Airport (YVR), and will serve the airline-related industrial area along Grant McConachie Way east of the airport.
Sea Island Centre and Templeton Stations will both be located at grade (at ground level) to allow for the future construction of an elevated aircraft taxiway over the Canada Line guideway.
Funding
The Airport Branch of the Canada Line, known as 'YVR Line' according to the Canada Line Website, will be funded by YVR (Vancouver International Airport Authority) including the stations.

The Sea Island Centre Station is under construction.
