Gregory Penske

Gregory Penske

Gregory Penske (born in Philadelphia) is President and Director of El Monte, California's Penske Motor Group. He is the past president of Penske Motorsports and California Speedway before they merged with International Speedway Corporation. He is on the Board of Directors of International Speedway Corporation and ALLTEL. He is the son of race car owner and entrepreneur Roger Penske. He received the Young Leadership & Excellence award from the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1997.

Penske went to college at Cornell University, where he graduated in 1985 with a degree in business management. He played lacrosse, and was named as a second team All-Conference soccer forward in 1981. He worked at a Chevrolet and a Cadillac-Oldsmobile dealership while in college.

Penske Motor Group

Penske became the General manager at Longo Toyota in 1987, and he took over the group in 1993. Penske Motor Group owns Longo Toyota, the largest car dealer in the world at over 29 acres.
