Bob Montgomery was an American boxer from Philadelphia. He was born in South Carolina.

Bob Montgomery went undefeated in his first 23 fights going 22-0-1 winning the Pennsylvania State Lightweight Title.

Montgomery beat Julie Kogon two times once in brooklyn by decision, and again in Chicago Coliseum by decision.

Montgomery lost to Sammy Angott by split decision at Shibe Park.

In 1942 Montgomery had two battles with Maxxie Shapiro. In the first fight Bob lost by decision in Philadelphia. The second fight Bob won by unanimous decision in Philadelphia.
