This is a list of areas, tourist attractions and other places of interest in the English town of Swindon.

* Dorcan:Taking its name from the nearby "Dorkerne" (now "Dorcan") brook,Cite web|url=http://www.romanmap.com/htm/names/Nythe%20Farm.htm|title=Duroconovio Wanborough, Wiltshire|accessdate=2006-12-19|work=The Roman Map of Britain] Dorcan lies between Eldene, Liden, Covingham and the A419 bypass. Parts of these surrounding areas are also sometimes referred to as being in Dorcan (such as Eldene Shopping Centre which uses Dorcan in its address). It is the site of the Dorcan Industrial Estate which includes the UK Headquarters of Tyco Electronics and offices of Npower (UK), Equiinet, MMG MagDev, Romec, House of Fraser (information systems), the Royal Mail sorting office and buildings owned by Woolworths. The pharmaceutical company Patheon also has a large facility here.:Dorcan Technology College (Formerly Dorcan Comprehensive School) is also in this area, providing the locality with sports facilities, notable as it is the school attended by Melinda Messenger and actor Mark Lawrence (from the series Band of Brothers).

* Pinehurst:Built during the period 1910-20 as Swindon's first council housing estate.

* Railway Village:Built in 1840-45 by the Great Western Railway to house its employees.

* Walcot East:Built from 1956
* Walcot West (Old Walcot)

* Westlea:The West Swindon shopping centre was Swindon's first out of town shopping centre, with a supermarket and other small shops. The supermarket was originally a Carrefour but is now a large Asda.:Including offices of Intergraph and the Delta Tennis Centre and home to the British and Foreign Bible Society.
