Bronislav Gromchevsky, _ru. Бронислав Людвигович Громбчевский, _pl. Bronisław Grąbczewski, (1855-1926) was a Polish officer in the
Imperial Russian Army and anexplorer famous for his participation in the Tournament of Shadows.Gromchevsky traveled extensively in the
Far East andCentral Asia during the period 1888-1892. He is regarded as the Russian counterpart to the British military-explorerFrancis Younghusband . The two Great Game rivals famously met in 1889 when they were exploring the Hunza Valley for their respective governments.Sources
