Bogatynia [IPA-pl|b|o|g|a|'|t|y|ń|a] ( _de. Reichenau) is a town in Zgorzelec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the point where the Czech, German and Polish borders meet. It is the only town in Poland which was part of the German state of Saxony before World War II. It has 19,068 inhabitants (2006).

The town lies approximately convert|27|km|mi|0 south of Zgorzelec, and convert|147|km|mi|0 west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Bogatynia is one of the richest towns per capita in Poland, due to its two principal enterprises: a brown coal mine ("Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Turów SA") and the associated thermal power station ("Elektrownia Turów").

The town used to be connected via narrow gauge railway lines to Zittau and to Frýdlant.
