Titas Petrikis

Titas Petrikis is a young professional composer from Lithuania who uses contemporary electronic technologies in his music. He gained his Master's in music composing for films at the Bournemouth Screen Academy and currently is engaged in PhD studies (supervised by Prof. Stephen Deutsch). He also works as the Chief Composer at the British Internet TV 'Vision-News.Tv'.

Titas' talent was recognized during the International Berlin Film festival. In 2007 Titas became a finalist of the Volkswagen Score competition and had a chance to work with the best music professionals from Germany.

The young composer has been involved in various films and international projects together with filmmakers from the United Kingdom, United States, Germany, Bahrain, India, Finland and Lithuania. Having over six years of international business experience, Titas gained excellent reputation among film/TV directors and producers and is credited as 'a great professional with top-level business ethics'.

For over twelve years, Titas has been creating music for TV, advertising, films and theater. You may check some of his recent works on this website. Currently Titas composes original soundtrack for the horror thriller 'Stone's War'.

His style covers from World to New Age and electronic music. Petrikis has created several music projects: “The Etruscans”, “The Renaissance”, “The Hunt” and other. The newest project is "Identity", which was recorded in Italy.

In addition to music composing for screen, Titas is also participating in numerous international multimedia festivals and concerts (Germany, Poland, Romania and Russia); as well as performing solo he also gives concerts alongside other musicians.
