Princess Inaara Foundation

Princess Inaara Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization founded by Her Highness Dr. Gabriele Inaara Begum Aga Khan in 2004. The Begum Aga Khan is the Chairman of the Board and President of the foundation and supported by German lawyer and politician Dr. Evelyne Menges as Vice President. The foundation provides philanthropic assistance to humanitarian causes and charitable organizations, whose work represents the goals that the Princess has long supported.

The Princess Inaara Foundation’s purpose is to attract, manage and disburse resources and funding to support women and children in need, to help fight the global threat of HIV/AIDS, to alleviate pain and suffering of children who are disabled, traumatized or suffering from long term illness, and to fight cruelty to animals.

Princess Inaara Foundation finances projects when it is assured that its assistance does not replace or reduce other sources of funding, and actively seeks to complement the finance of other donors and to use its own grants to catalyze additional investments by donors and by the recipients themselves.
