Robert Deak

Robert Deak

Robert Deak is a banker, financier, former chairman and CEO of American National Bank of New York and the 'father' of the Secured credit card. He was born in Scarsdale, New York.

He first served as President and Chief Executive Officer of his father's foreign exchange and precious metals investment firm called Deak-Perera. Later, he became the Chairman and CEO of American National Bank of New York, where the first Secured Credit Card was introduced. As of 2008, he is the managing director of National Loan Recoveries, LLC, one of the leading receivables management companies in the United States.
