"The World As Best As I Remember It, Volume One" is the fifth solo album by songwriter Rich Mullins and was released in 1991 on Reunion Records. The album received 7th place in the book "" (2001).

The song "Step by Step," written by Beaker, became a popular contemporary worship song among Christians. Mullins added new verses to the song for the follow-up to this album, "The World as Best as I Remember It, Volume Two".
