Mediterranean Sea , about fivenautical mile s south-east of the island ofKastelorizo . The island is about 1.5 km long, and up to 700 m wide. It covers an area of about 0.9 km². It is rather flat and covered withmacchia . Stroggyli is the easternmost Greek Territory. Administratively it is part of the Municipality of Megisti. The 2001 Greek census showed a population of nine inhabitants. It has alighthouse , which has the characteristic of being the easternmost building in Greece. The Turkish name for the island is "Çam Adası".ee also
