aircraft engine , used mainly intraining aircraft likeArado Ar 66 andFocke-Wulf Fw 56 "Stösser" and small low range reconnaissance & communications aircraft likeFieseler Fi 156 "Storch" during and shortly after WWII.It was first built in 1928.
It was later re-developed and renamed as
