She was also sent to Air Force bases in London and Germany to report on local troops during Operation Enduring Freedom. Prior to that, Fadal reported forWPGH-TV inPittsburgh, Pennsylvania ,WFTV inOrlando, Florida andWOWK-TV inCharleston, West Virginia andKYW-TV inPhiladelphia doing investigative journalism. Ms. Fadal was named the University of South Florida Outstanding Young Alumnus of 2004, and is the recipient of the Associated Press Award for Best Enterprise Reporting.Tamsen Fadal is extremely active in the fight against
breast cancer . After losing her mother to the disease in 1990, she continues to be involved actively with theSusan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in the fight for a cure.
