Roman Catholicism in Equatorial Guinea

The Roman Catholic Church in Equatorial Guinea is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.

It has one of the highest proportions of Roman Catholics (around 94%) in Africa, a legacy of its status as a former Spanish colony. There are three dioceses, including one archdiocese.
