Edward Kevin McGrady MP, known as Eddie McGrady, (born June 3, 1935, Downpatrick) is a Northern Ireland nationalist politician and a member of the United Kingdom Parliament.

Educated at St. Patrick's Grammar School, Downpatrick and at Belfast Technical College, where he trained as a chartered accountant. He is member of Parliament for South Down and is a member of the Social Democratic and Labour Party. He has been MP for the seat since the 1987 election, when he defeated the incumbent Unionist, Enoch Powell. McGrady's support has held solid over the years despite talk of a slippage & this was re-enforced in the last British election with his re-election to the House of Commons.

A member of the SDLP since its foundation, McGrady served as its first chairperson. He had earlier been a member of the National Democrats.

He formerly sat on the Northern Ireland Policing Board and was a member of the Northern Ireland Assembly between 1998 and 2003.

McGrady attracted criticism from some quarters and support from others when he praised the police for fatally shooting republican Colm Marks in Downpatrick on April 10, 1991. Marks, a member of the Provisional IRA, was preparing a mortar bomb at St Patrick's Avenue. He was unarmed at the time of the shooting and carrying no bomb.
