Packard Proving Grounds

Packard Proving Grounds is a beautiful test area dedicated by Packard for a million dollars in 1927. Includes a lodge, wrought iron gates, and one of the fastest oval tracks at the time. Also used for testing aircraft engines. The land was purchased in Shelby Township, Michigan and begun construction in 1926.
