Rabbi Avishai Chaim David (1949 - ) is currently the
Rosh Yeshiva ofYeshivat Torat Shraga (also known as YTS) inBayit Vegan ,Jerusalem ,Israel , and rabbi of Beit Medrash Torani Leumi (BMTL) inBet Shemesh . He studied under RabbiJoseph Soloveitchik for 14 years and received hissemicha fromRIETS ,Yeshiva University ,New York City . He is also a student of RabbiAvigdor Nevenzahl . Rabbi David's brother, RabbiAharon David , is currently one of the most prominent Rabbis at the Mir Yeshiva inJerusalem .Leadership Positions
