Verbal Abuse , beforeGlenn Danzig invited him to joinThe Misfits as the latest in a long line of drummers.He began rehearsing with the band in October 1983, just a few weeks before the band's upcoming
Halloween show in Detroit. His first and only performance turned out to be the band's farewell show. Completely drunk before the concert, he was unable to keep up with the rest of the band, and after several songs, he was thrown off the stage by a very angry Doyle.Todd Swalla ofThe Necros filled in for the rest of the show.After The Misfits, Brian remained in
New York City and went on to play drums for Hellbent,The Kretins ,The Hellhounds , The Skulls, Angels In Vain, Princess Pang,Raging Slab , and The Diamondbacks.He later moved to Los Angeles, where he still lives, and played or recorded with Wink, Pressurehed, Baron Jive,
