A Wonder-Book for Girls and Boys

"A Wonder-Book for Girls and Boys" (1852) is a book by American author Nathaniel Hawthorne. It is a re-writing of some of the most famous of the ancient Greek myths in a volume for children. It was followed by a sequel, "Tanglewood Tales for Boys and Girls".

The stories are all stories within a story, the frame story being that a Cousin Eustace is telling these stories to small children at Tanglewood.
