- CHRP (HR Designation)
The CHRP designation (Certified Human Resources Professional) was created in 1995 by the
Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations (CCHRA) and is quickly emerging as the highest level of professional qualification for Human Resources Management within Canada.Certification requirements include writing the
National Knowledge Exam , and then aNational Professional Practice Assessment after completing a recommended two to three years of work experience. Exam writers must also satisfy any requirements of their provincial HR association. As of January 1, 2011 all provincial associations will require an undergraduate degree prior to exam registration.
