Pallikunnu

Pallikkunnu is a small township in Kannur, Kerala state, in South India. It is located off the Kannur town municipal limits on the National Highway between Kannur and Payyannur.

Pallikunnu houses Sreepuram english medium school. the only ICSE school in Kannur.

Pallikkunnu is the location of Kannur Central Prison. The Doordarshan and Akashvani radio broadcasting station is also located in Pallikkunnu.

Some college institutions are also located at Pallikunnu, such as the Krishna Menon memorial women's collge.

Pallıkunnu ıs also famous for the Mookambıka Temple.

Pallikunnu is famous for the very humble and generous people living over there. It was well known place during British empire. Lots of activities were happening in Pallikunnu, where the bunglow of Superintend situates, now its converted into Woman's college.

Another well known temple is The Kanathoor Maha Vishnu Temple Closer to the Kadalayi Sreekrishna Temple in Chirakkal.
