Gary Webster (born
3 February 1964 inLondon ,England ) is an English actor.He was first noticed as an actor in "
EastEnders " as Graham Clark from 1987-1988. Before becoming best known for playing Ray Daley in thetelevision series "Minder", replacingDennis Waterman asGeorge Cole 's on-screen sparring partner in the series. Webster joined the series in1991 and remained until its conclusion in1994 . He didn`t appear in any soaps until a brief appearance in "Hollyoaks " as Dion in2001 and in "Crossroads" as Richard Mason in the same year.He also had been a regular cast member on thesoap opera "Family Affairs " asGary Costello in2003 until the soap was axed at the end of2005 . He has also played the role of tough gangster Paul Haskew on the popularITV dramaThe Bill .He was also in little britain as an Andy Pipkin double.Personal life
He is married to the television presenter
