Foreglen

Foreglen is a village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, 6km west of Dungiven on the A6 Foreglen Road, a main route linking Belfast and Derry. Limavady is 18 km to the north and Derry is 23 km to the north west. It is designated as a Small Village and in the 2001 Census it had a population of 285 people. Features

The village is a small linear settlement with a mix of public authority and private sector housing, and a number of local services and facilities including a local primary school, church, shop, post office, public house, and recreational facilities at O'Brien's GAC playing fields.

Education

*St Peter's and St Paul's Primary School. In 2004 the school received £39,000 from the Big Lottery Fund to increase sports provision for pupils and the wider community, by revamping the school hall and play area. Transport

Although the village has good road links, it has relatively limited public transport connections.
