Heritage Lincolnshire

The Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire or Heritage Lincolnshire in the shortened form of its name, is an independent charitable trust working to preserve, protect, promote and present Lincolnshire's heritage for the benefit of local people and visitors.
*It obtains much of its revenue from its subsidiary, commercial organization, Archaeological Project Services.
*It does its building preservation work through a revolving fund; buying derelict buildings of heritage value, restoring them, selling them and so on.
*The Community Heritage Team works directly with the public, organizing events, advising on the archaeological aspects of planning decisions and so on.
*It publishes archaeological reports and other books on historical and archaeological aspects of Lincolnshire, sometimes cooperating with other organizations for the purpose.
